If you or your friends fall into this category, or if you are one of those who are prone to accidents even when walking to work (including yours truly), then we have just what you need! 10Life analysed 14 different accident insurance products in Hong Kong and created the "PK" Protection Score to measure how well they protect against falls (a.k.a. "PK") and sports accidents.

Our PK Protection score is based on 6 factors:

Sports Coverage Score - scored by the coverage of these popular sports - skiing, scuba diving, parachuting, rock-climbing and non-professional bike race. (Note that all plans exclude professional sports.)
Accidental Death/ Permanent Disability Coverage Score - death/permanent disability payout per Annual Premium*
Accident Medical Expense Coverage Score - maximum medical expense coverage per Annual Premium*
Hospital Cash Score - daily hospital cash per Annual Premium*
Physiotherapy/ Chiropractor Coverage Score - based on the relative maximum coverage per day and per case
Chinese Bonesetter / Acupuncture Coverage Score - based on the relative maximum coverage per day and per case

*Annual Premium is calculated based on sum assured of HK$1,000,000 for accidental death or permanent disability, accident medical expense coverage of HK$40,000 (or closest equivalent) and hospital cash of HK$600 HKD a day (or closest equivalent).
